At the border of the Dordogne for nature lovers this is a paradise, overlooking fields with the River Lizonne in the distance. This historic mill has been completely restored by the charming English owners who live on the site. With water running beside the mill you might be invited to visit a smaller mill which was used to process walnut oil. The mill is built with stone and is cool in the summer. A large terrace overlooks the private round, above ground swimming pool; it’s a nice spot for evening meals. Guests can play table tennis, badminton, pétanque and there is a large play area in an adjoining field. Nearby at Aubeterre there is a beach on the River Dronne where swimming and canoeing are offered. Golf and horse riding are nearby.
