These two restored cottages enjoy a rural setting surrounded by fields and trees. Situated at the end of a private lane, the only sounds are songbirds and the occasional tractor in the distance. Forming an adjoining pair, they provide comfortable and spacious accommodation for a quiet and relaxing holiday. They retain many of their character features, including beamed ceilings, and each has a woodburning stove. The cottages share half an acre of unspoilt natural garden, and each has its own barbecue and garden furniture so you can enjoy summer in the open air. A shop and bar can be found in nearby Couesmes, and a good supermarket in Gorron. Ambri&egrave;res has two good restaurants, and the leisure park here offers something for everyone, including swimming and canoeing, while horse-riding and lake fishing can be enjoyed at Gorron. Within a short drive is the medieval town of Domfront, with a well-preserved old town, and the riverside town of Mayenne, where boats can be hired for a trip down the river.
