Just a few minutes in the other direction lies charming M&eacute;nerbes with its steep, picturesque streets and far-reaching views across to Gordes and the ochre cliffs of Roussillon. This lovely old stone farmhouse is peacefully situated in large wooded grounds, minutes from Lacoste village. It has been charmingly, yet simply restored, retaining the old Proven&ccedil;al ceilings, exposed stonework, and tiled floors. The odd different levels between the rooms adds to the old-world charm. Outside there is a nice sheltered dining area and two other sitting-out areas. The lovely pool is built-in &rsquo;bassin&rsquo; style and is walled and gated.
