Visits to historic Angers with its medieval castle (40km) and Nantes with its charming old quarter (35km) are a must. _The ruins of the castle of Ancenis is just a few minutes drive away, as is the beautiful village of St. Florent-le-Vieil set on the hill overlooking the Loire. _Take the tourist trail of the Angers vineyards and taste the famous Angou in the numerous cellars.
