It is part of a restored farmhouse, with 360° views over beautiful countryside, about 100m from the River Charente. It has been sensitively modernised and enjoys a <strong>splash pool</strong>. Exposed beams, original stonework, and a working woodburner make it a delightful location for a romantic break or a family holiday. _The beautiful and historic Verteuil (3km) has a picturesque château, restaurants, bars, a shop and two bakeries. Ruffec is a further 6km._The area is perfect for walking, cycling and fishing. Poitiers and Futuroscope are 50km, Angoulême is 35km, linked by fast roads, as are the beaches on the Vendée coast and the vine regions of Bordeaux that are within a 2 hour drive._Shop, café/bar and restaurant 3km._Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner.
