Town location_Gironde_This holiday residence consists of two types of accommodation, a studio for 2 people and an apartment for 2/4. The airport is approximately 20 minutes away, from here you can take a taxi or one of the frequent shuttle buses, a car is not essential as you will find all amenities such as restaurants, bars, shops etc within easy walking distance of the holiday apartments._Located in the centre of the historical district of Bordeaux and within a 5 minute walk of the quay. Bordeaux is universally known and recognised for its multiple qualities, historical buildings, art, architecture and wine production. A must for most people is a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Chartons, which explains the history of wine production. In December, the Christmas markets are very busy and popular with a nice ambiance. Bordeaux has always been a popular destination for British tourists, this is reflected in the style of some of the bars and restaurants, the ‘Irish pubs’ are equally as popular with residents. _For a little variation during your stay you can take the train and have a day trip into Arcachon, one of the most popular resorts on the Atlantic Coast, where mussels must be sampled and you can enjoy a stroll up and down the sandy beach and a trip to one of the many ice cream parlours. _Shop, café/bar and restaurant 1 km. _All on one floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, double sofa bed in lounge. _Hot and cold air conditioning, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour satellite TV, shared laundry facilities, microwave.
