The cottage has been modernised but the careful choice of furnishings help retain the typically French ambiance._The proximity of the area’s main roads make visiting the region quick and easy. Visit the châteaux of Rochechouart and La Rochefoucauld, Angoulême with its large waterpark, and Limoges._The Haute Charente lakes (within 15km) offer swimming, fishing and watersports, and kayaking is available in the next village._Shop, café/bar and restaurant 3km._Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner, separate toilet. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 2 double bedrooms, 1 plus single bed. Mezzanine: 1 single bed._Electric heaters, woodburner in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, €30 supplement October to April, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, DVD player, radio/cassette player, lawned garden, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 1 car.
