Haute-Savoie_Evian is a delightful town, located in the north of the Haute Savoie region. Renowned for its quality mineral water, its healthy atmosphere, spa, beauty and thermal baths, the town overlooks the crystal waters of Lake L&eacute;man with snow capped Swiss mountains as a backdrop. A 45km drive leads to Geneva for shopping, or a cruise across the lake takes you to Lausanne in Switzerland. _Situated at the foot of a forest and overlooking the town. A 15 minute stroll leads to a funicular lift (open daily from mid May - mid Sept, 10am - 6:40pm), which will whisk you down to the waterfront and the lakeside bars and restaurants. The residence has an array of facilities including a heated outdoor pool with a retractable roof, sauna and fitness room (payable) and a bar. The apartments located within large chalet-style buildings (3 apartments per chalet). All are beautifully decorated, spacious and have a furnished balcony or terrace. <br />Guests may wish to enjoy a stroll along the Lakeside Promenade which is only 1km from the residence and houses beautiful gardens, rare trees and many traditional wooden fronted residences. Evian is of course the home of the famous bottled water and has a number of related tourist attractions such as the Water Exhibition centre which is housed in the former pump room - you can take a tour to see the origin of the famous water here._All apartments have living/dining area with a single sofa bed and a single pull-out bed which may form a double bed. A fully equipped kitchen corner with 2 ceramic hotplates (4 in apartments for 6 people), microwave or combination grill and dishwasher. One double bedroom. One twin bedroom. TV hire. Bathroom, wc.
